I Enjoy Philosophical and Thoughtful Discussion

You can't put your opinions out there on a public forum and then say "no one respond to this. I only want to speak, I don't want to listen or talk about it," and expect people to listen. You can't speak on a subject and stay aloof from the subject at the same time - and I'm not saying that you can't do it because it's not allowed, I'm saying that you can't do it any more than you can swim in the ocean without getting wet (yeah yeah, I know, wet-suits - but you bloody well know what I mean). The act of speaking puts you in the conversation, whether you want it to or not. And if you're so closed minded that you don't recognize that, then all I feel is sorry for you.

One can speak detachedly about things, as in, one might employ the use of third person speaking so as to cleanse and purify what he or she would have to say from any particular opinion him or her may have with another opinion which sees their opinion as finite and ready to evolve further, which would suggest a mind with an opening, maybe a thing that can be opened and shut at will, and then by mentioning will, a deep and rich philosophical discussion could unravel.
