I never knew movies back in the day could be full of innuendos and curse words and be considered PG😮

Back to the Future is a family movie with implied incest. Lion King indirectly shows someone getting eaten alive. Pinocchio had slavery, underage drinking, and even got away with saying "jackass" as a kid's movie. Lion King 2 almost has incest as well, now that I think of it.

And that's just one franchise. Shit was hard core back in the day.

@Tython one of my favs, Shrek also had plenty of curse words. Donkey was called a stubborn jackass.

Yes back before things got a bit PC, all kinds of things were in movies. Even old kids cartoons had some quite adult things going on.

@pagandad I know what PG means. I was simply stating that the content of PG movies has changed, as with everything else in life.

I have never watched 80s PG movies before.

Yes. Watching old black and white movies are my favorite. Lots of things are " implied".
Its crazy because we think of it as a more pure time.
Even Disney movies have alot of innuendo.
