Why is everything so messed up these days???

Why does it seem like EVERYONE online these days is trying to start some kind of business or whatever. Like why can’t there be more people that just want to talk and make new friends? Maybe its just the type of people that I follow? I don’t know. Almost no one feels real or genuine anymore it all just feels like a huge cash grab or something like that.

You can't make money with talking to friends. Well a lot of people have been financially set back from covid and in order to make money they started a business. And some people are just money hungry.

@Sunflower2021 yeah but even before Covid started that’s how it was. I’ve just been trying to meet new people and there’s so many interesting ones online that I’d like to talk to about certain things. But they’re all like “sorry I don’t even say “hi” to people unless they sign up for a subscription on my website!” I don’t know why I even bother sometimes these days I guess I’m just hopeful that somewhere out there there’s still people who just want to get to know others and not treat the entire world like it’s a business transaction.

@DRtist102 meeting people online or even talking to them have caused issues. That's probably why they don't want to do it.
