I Don't Discuss Politics

At least three dozen tax liens by nys dept of taxation and finance on trump properties for non payment.
1979 gift tax fraud.
1989-91 securities fraud
1992 expense report fraud
1981 appraisal fraud
1997-2004 estate tax fraud
It would be a dereliction of duty if congress did not request trumps tax returns.

Well gee, Carla, if this has been going on since 1979, why didn't NY State put Trump in jail long ago? They seem to be remarkably patient. 馃槺

@Thinkerbell hey think:)
You know full well what money does.

@Carla

There once were corrupt politicians,
Who ALWAYS surveyed the conditions:
As long as the bribe
Was what they'd prescribe,
They'd NEVER go after patricians.
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell brilliant! And true:]

@Carla

Thank you. 馃き

Yep. That's how business has always been done in NY state.

Say...whatever happened to Russian collusion...?
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell never been top of my radar. But, i am very interested to read that report.
Thinkerbell41-45, F
@Carla

Never on top of your radar? 馃槻

With the Mueller investigation going on for lo, these two years with precisely THAT as its primary purpose?
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell if you recall, i have said many times that collusion isnt a crime. It would be his financial misdeeds that get him.
The ordeal, i have certainly followed, with interest. I wonder at all the praise for a tyrant. Tyrants, really. And, all the folks around him that have lied about interactions with russians. I reckon i may have to wait for one or more of them to write about it. Though, i wont hold my breath.

With trump, it is always about the money. His money.
Thinkerbell41-45, F
@Carla

If collusion with the Russians to affect the outcome of an election isn't a crime, then why was Mueller appointed in the first place? I must be mis-remembering something. Or maybe I just watched CNN too much. Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper will do that to you. 馃き

And I have little doubt that Trump may have had crooked financial dealings in his past... you don't build skyscrapers in NYC without greasing a lot of corrupt political palms (mostly Democrats, btw).

And now, all of a sudden, the latter charge has become the focus of the more reasonable Democrat politicians, now that they and their media stooges seem to have egg all over their faces about collusion. 馃槀
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell didnt that start as an investigation into the campaign and russian interference? Not specifically trump? Looking for a conspiracy by anyone involved? We dont know if russias involvement had anything to do with the outcome of the election. We never will. But we both know how people grab on to false stories, conspiracy theories and hateful memes,and how they affect the masses. We both know that russia wanted trump to win.
And i dont think trumps financial misdeeds are confined to sleazy politicians. I think it is a bit more complicated than that. Tax fraud has little to do with the real estate business. Or bank fraud. Or money laundering. I may be wrong about the latter two. And it may be that he is out of office, dead and gone when the whole truth comes out. Regardless, i think he is bad for this country as a leader. He may have been good for the country in that more people are energized.

@Carla Yes we all know full well what money does and even having people killed to cover things up like......Clintons (both) and JFK.

@Carla You have time lines wrong, your story is as fake as the liberal news and you show no evidence (even) news posts that back up your claims. Please you are proving you are another one of those sheep that follow the liberal / socialist leaders into the pit.
Thinkerbell41-45, F
@Carla

No, Carla, I don't think the investigation was'nt specifically aimed at Trump. Why would you need a special prosecutor to do that? That would be like saying the previous special prosecutors weren't specifically aimed at Nixon or Clinton.

Even Vox admits they were after Trump.

@Carla

P.S. The best thing about the Trump presidency is that it has exposed the //vast// corruption of the Establishment Democrats.
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell well he was the top banana of that campaign, so..okay. i still dont think that dossier was the initial starting shot, though. I think it played in. But, that is so murky. All specualtion. I dont really have input.
Carla61-69, F
@Thinkerbell and the total hypocrisy and ineptitude of the republican party;)
Thinkerbell41-45, F
@Carla
i still dont think that dossier was the initial starting shot, though.
Perhaps, perhaps not, but what it does show is that Russian elements (in collusion with the DNC and the Clinton campaign, btw) were trying to sow dissension and mutual recriminations among American voters, which I think was their primary motivation, and in which they have signally succeeded. I don't think the Russians expected Trump to win any more than, say, the NY Times or Rachel Maddow did.
and the total hypocrisy and ineptitude of the republican party;)
Yeah, but you always knew that part, long before Trump, right? 馃き
Carla61-69, F
Elements?
Yes, it did.

And, i wasnt quite aware of the depth. Those republicans sounded so convinced about fiscal responsibility, health care reform and family/christian values. They had me on those.
