I Wish You Were Still Here
I am so sick and tired of waiting for you. The hands on the clock are ticking away, and it seems as if you don't care about us anymore. You always make plans only to leave me stranded, with nothing but overwhelming pain and tear-filled eyes. I don't know where you are tonight or who you're with. All I know is that this is the last time that I am going to let you do this to me. I am going to find a way to move on with my life.
I am hoping and praying that someday you'll realize just how much I loved and cared for you. You were the most important thing in my life. As I look out my window this evening, I see your star shining down upon the world. If I stand here long enough I can feel your hand, resting gently upon my beating heart.
