I Wish You Were Still Here

As I look out my window this evening, I see your star shining down upon the world. If I stand here long enough, I can feel your hand resting gently upon my beating heart. I'd do anything for one more night with you. To kiss your lips and get lost in the warmth of your embrace, would mean the world to me tonight. I miss you more than you could ever know. I hope that somehow you can see and feel all of the love that flows throughout me. My heart is in unfamiliar territory as a tear falls from my eye down to my cheek. I wish that you would send me a message, or whisper lovingly into my ear. I want to feel happy and alive again. Deep down I hope that you will remember me. I could never forget you and all that we shared. You will always have the best of my love, and I want to thank you for everything you've done. If only you were still here, I'd tell you that I love you endlessly.
