What do you miss about the past?

The innocence. Trusting people, and thinking the best of them, accepting that whatever they said on the news was the truth, and actually believing that anyone in our government had our best interests at heart.

My hair.

The music, movies, not having to rely on technology to meet people or make new friends.

Being able to travel lots, going to the ballet and theatre, the pub and seeing friends.

A lack of aches and pains, being closer (geographically) to my family, a sense of naive optimism and excited enjoyment of everything rather than world weary jadedness. Energy. Full head of non grey hair. A 32 inch waist.

Obviously there's the pre - covid world, but hopefully we'll get at least most of that back over the next couple of years.
