Do you have people who ignored you, then all of a sudden want to talk to you?

IN REAL LIFE...
I have a cousin who would plan to do things with me, then always cancel and say she forgot. She has been calling and texting, to which I respond hours later, and ignore the calls, like she used to do me.

Guy at church never said a word to me. Then he found out my age and acts like he likes me all of a sudden...hi, hello, and goodbye...🙄

Yes .... an old high school friends e-mails me every few years proclaiming how we were so close to one another and telling me what he's been up to over the past few years. Then when I respond by telling him what I've been up to he again drops off the end of the earth for a few more years and repeats the cycle ...

@Heartlander you must be doing much better than he. I had a friend request me on facebook. Last time I saw her she acted like she didn't want to talk. Literally said "ok BYE!". Prior to that, I hadn't seen her since grade 6. What do you want with me?

@iamnikki

Facebook? Could it be that she just wanted to see who your other friends are? :)
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Heartlander possibly. She can only see mutual friends. I have my 'friends' hidden on facebook

You're having all kinds of problems with finding suitable work and acquaintances.

I can be like that at times not because I actually want to ignore but because I don’t feel like talking or I have to much going on in my head I can’t bring myself to talk to certain people but people can be same with me also so
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Bigmusicloverfan1 For me personally, I'd appreciate a " I don't feel like talking now, maybe later"

I am that person because I don't like too much human interaction
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@JBird But when she see me in real life, 'hey cousin, I miss you, I love you, we should hang out"....you are not this person...
JBird · F
@iamnikki uh, I don't tell them. Maybe a smile and hug and nothing more

Do unto others...as you would have them do unto you.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@4meAndyou don't give me verses, I'm sure you're no saint.
4meAndyou · F
@iamnikki Hardly, but the misunderstanding and your hard words still hurt. I was just saying that your cousin and your friend at church should expect you to do unto them as they have done unto you.

@Stereoguy I used to have a sister-in-law like that. Never picked up a phone to say, "Hello, how are you?", unless she wanted something.
