Do you believe ignorance is bliss?(both)

Would you rather be aware and cognizant or naive and unaware?
Personally I am very aware of what is happening around me and world affairs. I could not imagine not keeping up with those things that affect all of us.

I like to know what is going on. Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge is power. The more you know, the more prepared you are.

I don't think it is.

I'm too curious and constantly need answers

Generally I agree but in terms of world affairs, there came a time when I had to turn off the Cheeto. His rating on the disgusting scale is just too high for me to maintain whatever sanity I have left.

World affairs and politics: No it's good to be informed

Religion: Yes, I wish I was ignorant enough to be fully religious. Rn I just believe in God metaphorically.
When it comes to current affairs, I'm very much like you. Although I keep out of politics nowadays.

You can still ignore things you’re aware of
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Bagalamaga Not me. When I learn of something it gets filed away for future reference

Ignorance is only bliss for people until crap hits the fan. Unfortunately I believe that half of those that feel they are well informed are only looking at things from the media's point of view and not seeking information themselves.
