I would but it would have to be by cruise ship or business class on a plane. There is no way i'm sitting in a cramped seat for 25 hours+. My sister in law lived in Australia for 5 years before her and my brother got together.

@Gingerbreadspice 17 hours direct Heathrow to Perth. 21 hours of flying one stop Sydney or Melbourne. Some Chinses airlines offer amazing business class fares. Worth a try!
Thanks. I’m sure different places in Australia takes longer than others and suppose it depends on the flight and airline. My brother told me it took 27 hours.

I got some old Rosetta Stone software that teaches how to speak Australian. As soon as I learn enough of the language to get by and avoid any awkwardness, I might consider a trip down there! It's an interesting culture! Did you know that the devices they use to cook shrimp are named after a ridiculous anatomically incorrect, yet very famous, American doll made by Mattel? It's true! Also all the Europeans and their descendants go on the dole and spend all their free time surfing and drinking, while the indigenous people just drink. Fascinating place! They also have spiders there that are so deadly, they can kill you just by looking at you! Australians all carry very large knives and wear hats that look like American cowboy hats that have been left out in the weather for several months! I've been researching all I can about Australia and it's culture, so if you have any more questions about it, feel free to ask.
*Bonus factoid* The water in their toilets actually spins the opposite direction in bowel as American toilets!!

I don't think much empirical research has been done about the direction water spins in our BOWEL down under. But when we have a bath (annually) the coriolis effect is genuine -which merely proves that water swirls down your northern hemisphere plug holes the wrong way. @puck61
@april50 I always love to discuss the Coriolis effect with the flat earth folks!

I wish it wasn't such a long and expensive flight

I think it would be an interesting experience. But if I were able to visit another part of the world my first choice would be to visit England, Ireland, and Scotland.
