Hello, I'm Mike Mcneil and thank you for reviewing my report. I and others have witnessed that Paul Elam accept donations and sells tickets on his website, AVoiceforMen.com. There is reason to suspect these donations may be gained through fraudulent/or misleading information. He represents his donations, his tickets, and himself as part of a business, A Voice for Men LLC, registered with the state of Texas. in 2013, the business was seized under tax forfeiture by the state. It should not be representing itself as part of AVoiceforMen.com. Furthermore, there is reasonable evidence Elam has claimed or insinuated A Voice for Men and himself are a non-profit. No such nonprofit records exist in Texas or any other state. He accepts international donations for A Voice for Men as well; no international nonprofits or business that I can find exist under that name. He is accepting large amounts of cash via Paypal, right now, for a conference and a separate account for donations via * and *. The conference is meant to take place in Detroit late this June, but him and his compatriots have claimed the conference and venue might be changed. He has extracted large amounts of money from his donors by claiming that the Doubletree Hilton Detroit sent a letter claiming he needed to purchase extra amounts of money for insurance against death threats made against him, the hotel, and the Detroit PD. Neither the hotel nor the Detroit PD have claimed to receive any such threats, and the hotel has disavowed knowledge of the letter. Many people believe it to be a forgery meant to raise extra funds, but this has not been verified independently. I am reporting him because he and his site members have glorified violence against women and specifically against feminist activists, including the release of personal information, on AVoiceforMen.com and Register-Her.com, as part of the "Men,s Rights Movement." Furthermore, his site is recognized as a hate site by the SPLC and the MRA movement tied to it. Elam's financial matters are as troubling as his funding, and at least worth looking into for public welfare and transparency as well as good business practices.
