I Am An Mra

Jack Barnes had this to say earlier today about Valerie Solanas (The women who shot Andy Warhol)

She tried to kill three men. Just because she didn't succeed is irrelevant. The fact she was insane only goes to strengthen the case that feminism is a mental disorder.

So Jack now believes "feminism is a mental disorder". What a quiet well considered guy he is.

The MRA movement needs to give him a stiff word now and again before he loses them any more supporters, don't they?

The whole avfm tax fraud thing seems to center around the following phrase." FILING  TYPE Tax Forfeiture* "Dante (ambi) posts several links in her comment talking about Paul, avfm and tax fraud. No a single one of those links contains " FILING  TYPE Tax Forfeiture*". So where did that come from? Did she just make it up or is she parroting someone else? Off to do more research.

Ok I found a website that mentions what dante said.

However it says "forfeited existence."

According to the Texas secretary of state the term "forfeited existence means:
" An inactive status indicating that the corporation or limited liability company failed to file its franchise tax return or to pay the tax due thereunder. Status is changed by secretary of state when certification of the delinquency is received from the comptroller of public accounts."
http://direct.sos.state.tx.us/help/help-corp.asp?pg=ov

According to wikipedia a franchise tax is:
" Franchise tax is a tax charged by some US states to corporations with a nexus (aka a filing obligation) with those states. The common feature of a state's franchise tax is that it is not based on income. Rather, the typical franchise tax calculation centers around the "net worth" of the taxpayer."

Here is where it gets confusing.
" What entities are not subject to the revised franchise tax?The revised franchise tax does not apply to:sole proprietorships (except the tax does apply to single member LLCs filing as a sole proprietor for federal income tax purposes);"
If Paul didn't file as a " sole proprietor of single member LLC on his federal income taxes" then the franchise tax doesn't apply to avfm.
"A sole proprietorship that is not legally organized in a manner that limits its liability is not a taxable entity. A single member limited liability company filing as a sole proprietor for federal income tax purposes is a taxable entity. TTC 171.0002(d)."
http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/franchise/faq_tax_ent.html

So I guess it all depends on how Paul filled his personal income tax. Depending on that he may not be required to file the franchise tax.
Its all very confusing.

I have to give credit to dante for one thing. I was under the impression that avfm was a nonprofit. It turns out that it is or at least was an LLC.

More info for Jack. AVFM Lllc has two registered Company directors. It is not a single member company. As a company director Elam has to declare that on his personal tax return. Currently he has not filed the Llc Tax Return so he is therefore suspended as a company director. Thanks for looking at this, and agreeing that what you have stated in the past regarding AVFM being a non-profit organisation is incorrect.
