We Must Increase The Men's Vote, Starting November 6... It is important that MRAs do all they can to get other men as well as themselves out to the voting booths. I can remember when I was in college the men's vote was larger than the women's vote in the United States. Then it not only equalized, the women's vote pulled ahead and has stayed ahead.
The consequences of this are huge. Because men vote less politicians are less likely to be concerned about trampling on their rights and interests. We see government funding of men's health a pittance compared to government funding of women's health, although women live significantly longer and get significantly less cancer in the US. Feminists have an easier time seducing or intimidating politicians when the women's vote significantly surpasses the men's vote.
Our ob<x>jective needs to be to get the men's vote back out ahead of the women's vote. "Suppressing" the women's vote is not the ob<x>jective. The women's vote is still far below 100 percent, so there is plenty of room for men voters to surpass women voters if we can only galvanize men. Talk to your men friends at work and on the phone Tuesday and urge them to vote.
It is a delusion to think that men's quest for justice and equality in law and culture can be successful if we abstain on election days just because we don't see the choice of a candidate who closely resembles our ideal. Before the next election, MRAs need to make it a priority to undertake a serious organized campaign to increase male voting.
