I Want to Fall In Love With Someone Who Loves Me

I keep looking back at the girl I fell in love with during my school years. How we had been friends basically since 1st grade and how we would act like kids and be like “hey you wanna be my boyfriend/girlfriend. It wasn’t until my junior year in high school that I realized that I actually had feelings for her. It didn’t help though that we then ended up going to completely different colleges and beginning to start our own lives.

Over the last year or so I’ve really been getting the feeling that I want that love again with someone. I want that feeling again of just being close with someone and really getting to know them. And then if things really work out possibly starting a new life with each other. However being an adult now has added so many things to more daily routine that it feels almost impossible to find the time to truly get to know someone. I am very curious and anxious to see what the future holds and I really hope I am able to meet that special someone someday.
