Tell me a story...

That you overcame something. It could be the moment you were giving up and something happened and you got back on your feet... or anything like that.

Not a huge story but I had to leave my low paying job in 2017 because we were getting evicted. We got evicted, I got dumped and I had no job at the end of 2018. That led me to depression and I'm still there.

However, in 2019 I got a job where I was more than double of what I earning previously. Even after I got that job, I was sidelined because of a hereditary medical condition. It wasn't mentioned on the job posting if that would pose a problem. Had it then I wouldn't have applied for it.

Long story short, I never got that job too in 2019. In about 2020, they called me in to start working because I was screwing them hard. I had found their flaws and pointed it before for months and eventually I got the job.

@Beatbox34 glad to hear you beat that adversity. 👍🤗 Sorry you still battle depression. It's a tough road and seems to be a vicious cycle. 😕😔🤗🤗

@Beatbox34 A break up is like the cherry on top to make you feel more sad. I remember in 2014 towards the end of the year we got evicted. My alcoholic brother caused problems so that's why we had to go. We were in a hotel for over a month. I went into labor early. My bf and I took a break. I was driving in to work with a new car but was living in a hotel. Everyday getting off of work I would cry. Things got better we found a place, My son thrived and we worked out our relationship. I'm glad you got the job, it's a new beginning for your life and I hope you continue to do well.

@Sunflower2021 A lot of things changed after that. I had expected a lot from that person and sacrificed a lot to end up with nothing. Well it happens. Life happens. Thank you so much for this. I wish you the best as well.

@Montanaman Thank you. I'm just trying to battle the depression. Maybe I will be victorious.
