I Believe In Empathy

But here’s the tricky part about empathy, we can try and understand others, and we can’t try to put ourselves in their position, but never can successfully do it. That’s what’s tricky about empathy. We never truly know what others are going through, unless we’ve experienced the same things.

@SabrinaL Empathy is that, to be able to relate to what someone is going through. It is not necessarily experience unlike Sympathy.

I had to rely on the definition as I am not a native speaker of English. I hope it clarifies.
