Is it wrong to be glad someone is dead?

I found out that a violent and insulting man I worked with died two years ago. I'm actually relieved that I'll never have to see him again. I hate bullies.

I don't think it's wrong. I'm glad his parting is a relief to you. It's as though he gave you the gift of his dying.
