I Have a Daughter

I am an asshole. When I got home from work today I asked the girl "have you checked the mail yet today"? "No." "Why not, you might have something good in the box." With that she goes running down the driveway, out to the mailbox. When she was just about to touch it I reminded her that today was a Federal holiday and there was no mail delivery today. I thought it hilarious. She, not so much. 😆
