I guess I'm not a woman then. Strange, after 73 years, and having had four babies, I was convinced that I am a woman. But, when I don't want someone to do something, I say, no, don't. Sometimes I'll tack on a please. I have said, " I'd rather you don't do it, but I know you will anyhow, so why are you asking me?"

@MasterDvdC: I didn't think I was unusual. I learned this from my mom. She didn't beat around the bush. She didn't play coy, but she did say, "If you're going to do it anyway, why ask how I feel about it?" It's how I learned.
