I Am Deaf

I lost all my hearing when I was 17. I just remember there being pain in my ears and a constant humming sound. I am grateful to remember what it feels like to hear though. I wish I could remember what my parents sounded like.

@SW-User it's just silence now. The humming I was experiencing were my nerves dying or so I'm told.

@OnDeafEars I envy your ability to sleep well. I'm hyper sensitive to low frequency noise and so I moved to the country to get some silence.
