Putin: Strike Navalny down and he shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine...

Alexei Navalny may not yet be the Russian president, but for me he is already a national hero. Fearless isn't the word. And after the horrendous trauma he went through when he was almost killed in the outrageous attempt to poison him last year, he still possessed the remarkable courage to return to his home country.

His two year eight month sentence is a sham, only designed to take Navalny out of the spotlight in a doomed effort to take the heat off of Putin, and the theft of billions from the Russian economy during the nineties.

Let's hope that he is released very quickly. He is a massive thorn in Putin's side, and locking him up will only increase his colossal popularity with the Russian people, particularly the young.☮️

It's like what happened to the Unabomber. He's a hero among serial killers and terrorists. It didn't have to be that way.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays Except that I don't think Navalny is a homicidal maniac...
@SW-User He just leads to mass arrests. 🤣

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays It's sad but true; it's the only way Russia has a chance of reform. He needs to inspire the next generation.
@SW-User Russia is tired of revolutions.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays The thing is, there doesn't even need to be a revolution; just free and fair elections.
@SW-User Tell Donald Trump that!

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I was going to quantify free and fair elections with mentioning the US election but I wasn't sure how you were going to respond #politicalbantz
