I Believe In Chemistry Between People

Green

It's in everything about him. His gait, his easy conversation, his manner & air. Sometimes I look at this man & I feel genuinely honoured to know him. It hits me again, over & over like it did from the first that this uniquely remarkable person is in my life. I am drawn irresistibly.

I think to myself that if I could've had a decent father I would have liked one such as him. That strong deeply ingrained masculinity, that unabashed instinct to protect & nurture, & to impart his wisdom on those little mailable minds wearing wide-eyed expectant faces. How lucky they are to have such a champion. How envious I am to have had none.

You have your priorities in what women should look for in men straight. It's a lost sentiment overlooked and disregarded by a tragic turn in western societies that's going in a tragic direction. I'm glad some women still hold small candle vigils for such men in their own way, like this beautiful and thoughtful post of yours. You sound like the kind or intellectually substantial and emotionally honorable woman to deserve just such a rare man as the one you mentioned above.

Thank you, Copper. So very much. That means a lot.
