I Believe In Chemistry Between People

Chemistry- The "IT" Factor... I see him across the room-he has caught my eye. My body is alert, humming as he makes his orbit around the room. We do the dance, talking to others, yet never taking our eyes off each other. As he approaches, my eyes survey him from top to bottom. He has IT-my chemistry. He conjures pure lust.

I notice how he dresses, how he holds himself, his confident air. His hands, his lips, his carefree style. His infectious laugh, he has their rapt attention.

He gets closer and I feel the electricity, the sparks. My wall goes up. I assume the friendly yet professional demeanor but I am shaking inside. This man has me and he doesn’t even know my name.

He knows what I am thinking as he gazes, I am sure into my soul. He can read my thoughts and he knows I want him.

He makes the innocent mistake of touching me and I shudder. He asks me to dance and I am putty in his hands. My thoughts are jumbled. What is causing this intense attraction? It is hormones, pheromones, or just pure carnal lust?

His hand is at the small of my back-my sweet spot..I can’t get close enough to this man. I want him to consume me yet I manage to maintain my composure.

I lay my head on his shoulder, I feel his breath in my hair. For the first time in my life, I let him lead. I am willing to go wherever he chooses to take me.

I have met my match-we fit and yet little has been said. I can only imagine the next dance will be as intense.
