I Believe In Chemistry Between People

What does chemistry between people really mean? My interpretation of it really just means that I feel comfortable about being open and myself. It's very rare that I don't have to dial my personality down - with most people I'm just a watered down version of myself, because it turns people off.

I just realised that there are two people in my office that I completely feel comfortable with. And it makes me happy because that is so rare for me. The feeling of sticking out like a sore thumb is more familiar than anything.

I think chemistry for me means that I can be myself, and tell them things I don't usually tell anyone else. Sometimes I can even overshare because I get too comfortable. But the beauty of these people is that I know that they don't judge... maybe that's all I really need for chemistry. To know that I am accepted as I am.

It sounds like you're talking about "comfortableness" not chemistry. I thought "chemistry" between people was when they spark off each other in a way that doesn't happen with most other people you meet?

@sleepyhead I don't get that "comfortableness" with most people. That's why I was wondering about other people's interpretations of chemistry.

Cool. For me chemistry between people usually implies a connection that makes both people work extremely well together. Whether that's professionally, personally, sexually, etc @SW-User
