I Always Try to Look Happy

The burden of the past and pain weighs down on me.
I try to stay smiling for the sake of everyone around me.
I don't want them to worry but sometimes the mask slips.
The other day I nearly let it all out when my little niece turned and asked why I looked so sad sometimes.
Just smiled and lied like I always do
