I Believe That We Are In The End Times

Signs of the End Times

When I was a little girl my grandma would read the bible to me and tell me that when you see these signs know that Jesus will come back before you die because he said whoever see these signs will see his return. The signs were not in her generation, 50 years ago. She is with the Lord now.

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. 22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.

24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. 29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. -Matthew 24

No. World is in a phase of transitioning.

Life doesn't end.
Carazaa · F
@midnightsun Life will end for all of us. But not happily for all so I hope you repent and believe in Jesus.

@Carazaa I'm a Hindu

@midnightsun
Life doesn't end.

When I was in my 20's, I bet I felt the same way.
Trust me young one - life does end. And tragically it comes to some unexpectedly. Never simply assume you will always have tomorrow.

It is a blessing for you that you found this post of Caraza's today. Read it, study it, meditate and pray on it.

@Budwick I understand

I care about you, and only Jesus God almighty, who took the whole world sins on his shoulders because he loves you, can take your sins away, and give you a new heart and love for all!

God came down from heaven because he loves you. And I do too. There is a heaven and hell. God says that if you have even one sin you will not go to heaven. Jesus took all your sins away. All he wants is your love and faith. And it also heals the heart, and he also answers all your prayers he promises. But he doesn't hear our prayers if we don't tepent of our sins and have faith in Jesus.

"There is no other way under heaven, by which we must be saved"

@midnightsun it is appointed for man to die once and then judgement.

Take in the signs and look for them and you will know his words are true. Ignore them at your own peril, having been warned and made fully responsible by that knowledge, there is no second chance.
Carazaa · F
@th3r0n Thank you! Very true!
@Carazaa Have you ever considered that maybe you're wrong and Hinduism is the right path. I'm sure there are a lot of Hindus who could testify how Hinduism has changed their lives or helped them in some way.

@NortiusMaximus helpful ideas is one thing, undeniable power is another
@th3r0n And?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@NortiusMaximus Jesus walked the water and healed the sick, and gives to all who truly believe him power to become sons of God.

In those who truly believe, undeniable power manifests itself; Jesus is true.
@th3r0n The same can be said of any god. As you say, helpful ideas are one thing, undeniable power is another. @midnightsun can correct me if I'm wrong but I expect a Hindu would speak of the undeniable power of Brahma and an Odinist would know the undeniable power of Odin.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@NortiusMaximus no...not some idea or feeling, you either misunderstood or just felt like being annoying...I'm talking about real power, that prayers are answered and incredible things done, a fire hotter than anything felt inside that doesn't hurt, and strength drawn from that fire to do amazing things
@th3r0n How is what you're talking about objectively different from the real power of other gods? They answer prayers too you know. Maybe it would be clearer if you refrained from trying to use metaphors to explain your position.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@NortiusMaximus your brain is broken? You just can't contemplate?

There's not a single metaphor, I'm speaking fully literally
@th3r0n Are you really saying -
, a fire hotter than anything felt inside that doesn't hurt,
and
strength drawn from that fire
are not metaphorical?

I see you're resorting to insults now. Don't you have any logical arguments?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@NortiusMaximus when I have told you something and you are responding to something I did not write instead of what I did write, yes that makes me wonder what is wrong with you. I asked for good reason.

No, not metaphorical at all, literally feeling fire and heat like nothing I have ever felt, not an idea like it, not some metaphor.

I have never felt that intensity in anything else in my life, the fire that I felt around me when I was surrounded by believers at a Christian work camp (helping to fix homes for the less fortunate) and when I became baptized that fire made its home inside of me and has never left.

That fire has been my strength ever since.
Carazaa · F
@NortiusMaximus No one died for your sins except Jesus, God almighty, who made the world. What other religion takes your sins and get punished. When people hated him he died for humanity. And who but Jesus says "love your enemies, and pray for those who despitefully use you." And Who but Jesus raises people from the dead?
Carazaa · F
@th3r0n We will win them by our love!
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Carazaa indeed, but that one is either trolling or mentally damaged it seems. Still in need of help, but if he cannot understand my words, I do not know what I can do to help.
Carazaa · F
@th3rON Love Him! They can feel our caring about them. We don't have to win any arguments or debates.
@Carazaa
No one died for your sins except Jesus
What sins? I hadn't even been born when Jesus was supposed to have died.

And Who but Jesus raises people from the dead?
All I ever see are completely unsupported claims. I'm trying to understand why you believe as you do but when I ask a perfectly reasonable question, I either get another unsupported claim (from you) or insults from people like @th3r0n. Is that how christians are taught to behave? Whenever I've asked similar questions of people from other religions, I've always been treated with respect and given reasonable answers.
Carazaa · F
@NortiusMaximus I haven't treated you with respect?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@NortiusMaximus do you understand how irritating it is to be describing something and someone is constantly twisting to make it sound like entirely something else? I took you for a troll at that point
@Carazaa You have, although I must admit I find it a bit irritating the way you state your beliefs as proven facts. Some other christians, both here and elsewhere, show no respect to non-christians. Do you think it respectful to suggest a person is mentally ill and otherwise insult them just because they don't agree with your views?
