I Have Been Used By People I Thought Were Friends

I have been used many times. Today a friend of mine who is used to mooching off me was sick. So I went with her to get altra sound for emotional support. I have treated her out for lunch on many occasions... She also made a habit of borrowing money and not returning it. Need I mentioned she is not poor by any means. So today we went to a restraunt and I decided not to order anything because I'm on a diet... She ordered expensive drink and a meal... Then after she already started to eat the meal she turns to me and says can you lend me some money. I told her I didn't have cash on me. The she panicked in horror ...and said she also didn't any Money! I asked her to charge it on her visa or something. And she claimed her card wasn't working. I sat there calmly and repeated that I wasn't going to bail her out this time. She dug in her purse and found enough for the bill. The audacity of some people astounds me. She very well knew that she had money.... But she was willing to lie. Should I dump this friend? I'm glad I'm setting strict boundaries.
