I just noticed that I have quite a few friends here who are big heavy metal fans. 😯 Imagine that. 🤘

In 1983, my first band was a metal band: Priest, Maiden, Ozzy, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Dio, etc. We sucked, but we had fun, made noise, and met up with, um, girls. What's not to like? And, my dumb ass is STILL playing live 34 years later. I'll do it till I'm no longer able to.

@Carver Oh yeah! I carried a double-bass drumset for years and years. It was crazy. I don't even play a double pedal much now, although I did when I played with my girlfriend's 80s band, because there was just too much drum machine stuff.
