I Am Grieving

You would think after 12 years, I would miss my daughter less, that I would get over the loss, but the truth is, I miss her more.

I never understand people who expect someone to get over the loss of a loved one. How can you possibly “get over” something like that?

@sciguy18 i have a classmate who lost her son young in a car accident. she never mentions it. but i am different. i think of her all the time. wishing she was here.
