I Almost Died

So when i was like idk 9 I fell sick, it started off like a normal dry cough but, then I started to no-stop cough and I throw up a few times a day, so i was always hungry. Then about a week after i got it, it still hadn't gone away ( normally when i get sick it goes away in a week ), then whenever i coughed i wasn't able to breath. It got so bad I had to go to the hospital, they said nothing was wrong with me and that it was all in my head! And strate after i went home i collapsed! Then the next week it stopped.....? um......?
