I Tell My Children I Love Them Every Day

Never, for one day, have I not told my children that I love them......

Parental love is unconditional; ok, so they might be rude or they might get stroppy but that doesn’t stop them from being YOUR children or you being THEIR parent.....

Love them....cherish them.....be there for them....

@antonioio Exactly......my thoughts as well.

However, unconditional love does not mean not saying NO to them when required; it just means explaining your reasons for not doing something.....

I was visiting my son in New Zealand last year
Spent every minute of it with my grandkids
After a week my grandson said to me
Ill bite you granddad
I turned looked him straight in the eye and said
Do and Ill bite you back and he got the message
A week later just before I left for home sitting together watching tv
Here he was trying to cover me with his blanket
