What ways or methods do you use to try to save money?

Get everything in dark colors e.g black colored bag(backpack, purse, sling bag, etc) Black colored shoes be it sneakers, heels, flats, etc then for clothes like tops or blouse I have tons of stripes in diff colors mainly gray, black, navy, teal, etc and then for dress just get a black dress will do. Black jeans or pants if u wan something diff just get dark blue jeans(don't buy those with designs or torn designs its not worth it and to me it is quite expensive and the trend will eventually die of anytime soon).

Don't wear contact lens try to go for glasses its cheaper in the long run. Don't dye your hair any color just stay natural. Try to go for anything that will last all year round and never go out of style.
For my skincare I stopped using all these expensive ones, I'm using Baby 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash as my face wash its kind of cheap but it works for amazing for me and it lasted for 6-8 months? thereabout and I only paid $6 for a big bottle vs those products specially advertise for skincare and you have keep buying them every month or once every 3 months. You don't have to buy those fancy serum or anything like you but u should look into face oils like "NOW foods" brand.

For body wash just get those big bottle ones will do but if u can spend on an all-natural products and it fit within your budget u may do so same for toothpaste/toothbrush, if you're using body bath sponge I highly recommend getting those from Ecotools brand from iherb it works and lasted me almost 4 years now and i'm still loving it, the material not too soft and not too hard, just perfect.

For shampoo I can't find a good one but so far I've been using this Biolage brand its a salon quality shampoo quite expensive but works great and they diff range of lines that you can choose from but I like hydrating ones the most and still gave me volume in this 27-33 degree celcius temp here. (provided that u blow dry ur hair)and I don't use conditioner at all because i'm too lazy anyways i think for this part buy whatever that works for u.

Avoid eating-out as much as possible, try to pack food from home its cheaper and you'll be surprise the diff it makes in your cash flow vs spending every single day on a decent meal. Get a part time job that requires you to wear a uniform its better that way unlike those fast fashion job where it requires you to spend money on your uniform. It may seem small and insignificant but it does play a role in your spending.

I live in one rented room. Rents are too high for apartments.

Cook for myself. Buy petrol on cheapest day. Take a list shopping. Buy mostly food on special.

Don't spend anything out of your bank account, get a visa gift card instead.

Don't buy branded clothes or food. Only buy new clothes and shoes, when I actually need them.
Don't go out to drink regularly, and don't have a gym membership or expensive monthly tv bill..
Sounds boring doesn't it!!
