I Prefer the Book to the Movie
In Almost All Cases........
[b]I've read a lot of books that have been turned into movies...in almost all cases, the book is much better than the movie. In the book, the author is only limited by her/his imagination...in the movie, there is a limited time to get every detail of the story told. There is almost always much more to the book version, and most times, the movie barely resembles the book. The one movie I can think of that I enjoyed as much as the book, which I own (the book), is Fried Green Tomatoes ( at the Whistlestop Cafe)....each was charming and hilarious in it's own right...and although the book was, as is a common occurance, more detailed, the movie followed it closely..and who could resist Kathy Bates showing up at the door wrapped in cellophane???? LOL!!! Towanda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/b]
