I Had Counselling

After Dean was killed I became clinically depressed. I was prescribed Fluoxetine to help my low mood. I also attended a weekly session with counselling session. I hated life at that time, relying on tablets, counselling and booze to get me through the day.

After 2 years I knew it was time to face things without substances that may be harmful to my body. My little man needed his mum and needed his mum to give him the life he deserved. So the Fluoxetine and drink went. I kept up the counselling because talking helped me to come to terms with losing Dean.

I will always be grateful to Julie who helped me to see that I owe it to Dean to raise Dylan the best I can
