I Think Dads Deserve More Credit

i feel bad for all the dads out there. They get treated like they are just glorified babysitters by most and people just assume the mother does everything while the dad just slacks off and goes to work or whatever..

I think they deserve so much more credit. Sure there are some bad dads out in the world but there is also bad mums out there too.
I just don't understand why dads get treated like they are less then the mothers..

If the day ever comes that I have kids, I'm going to make sure that their dad knows he is appreciated and so much more.. Anyway just a random thought I was thinking... Much respect to the awesome dads in the world

Thanks plum. This dad of four certainly appreciates this post! Very sweet of you...

@PlumBerries: yes. The kids do know you are so right about that. Thank you so much for the recognition though. It means a lot. :)

I 100% agree with you... both moms and dads should have respect from their kids
meemo70 · 51-55, M
@PlumBerries: it is annoying indeed!! good mothers who teach their children how to respect and appreciate their dads... and vice versa of course :)
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
that I'm sure is annoying. I personally think though that if the dad is a great dad to his kids that they will automatically respect and appreciate him, and if their mother tries telling them otherwise that the kids will see right through her crap.. And vice versa

@PlumBerries: agreed..

That's the sweetest thing I've ever heard. That's basically my plan too, keep her happy and smiling. It's a reward itself seeing her smiling back at me. 😌

No one says even thank you...
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
thats my point. Mothers always are acknowledged. Fathers deserve it too
