Someone on here once told me I can't identify as Native American

Their reasoning for that was that because my ancient ancestors migrated here from Asia, so that means I'm no more native than the European settlers who came here. I told them by their own logic, no one can say they're native to any continent other than Africa because humans all came from there. I also tried respectfully disagreeing and said just because we all may share the same roots doesn't mean we can't identify with our cultural heritage. They completely lost it and said I'm the reason "people don't think highly of Native American's education and ability to learn." Yep. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Many people are astonishingly dumb.

As a psychologist friend said to me recently, 50% of people are under 100 IQ.

I'd never heard it put like that before, but it certainly put the idiocy of the human species in perspective.
Whoa! It’s really that low?? Or was your friend just joking? I mean it would explain a WHOLE LOTTA THINGS! 😂😆🤣 @hartfire
@DukeOfEarle He was actually serious. He himself is 132, was one of the top criminal psychologists, retired now. Since he's so bright, he's had to spend his entire life dealing mostly with people who are not as bright. Try to imagine it!

100 IQ is average or "normal". It's enough to get by in life, have a basic degree of common sense and practicality - but it doesn't include much in the way of logic or other more advanced cognitive skills.

Normally the stats for the population as a whole are shown as a bell curve, with the majority of people (68%) falling between 85 and 115 IQ.
About 2.5 percent of the population scores above 130, and 2.5 percent below 70.

But the way my friend put it, I suddenly realised he was right.
It was a bit of a shock, and it explains a hell of a lot about why the world is in such a bad state.
Wow! This is the moment of clarity. It all makes sense now. Thank you! @hartfire
