I Have A Terminal Illness

It’s scary, I’m currently on the list for a lung transplant, but nothing is truly promised. Life itself isn’t promised, at this point, I’m just taking each day as they come.

Some days are better than others, some are much worse. I want to enjoy whatever much time I’ve got left, it could be years, it could be months, it could be hours, but I am grateful for every single second of that time.

I'm sorry, but in reality, the only difference between you and the rest of us is; you have an idea of your expiration date and we don't.

Appreciate the time you have, as you've said, you (or me, or any of us) could slip in the shower tomorrow and end everything right there.

No one knows. But don't be scared. It's just another step, just another doorway. And we all go through it.
