I Love the Rain
I love rainy season, the smell of trees and earth makes me feel alive.
If it rains and I'm outside, I would normally stop, face up to the sky and let the ferocious drops of rain splash on my face. Arms stretch out wide welcoming the rain to purify and wash away my problems. This is what I always imagine when I do this.
Once I did this on a main road near my place of work and an elderly couple parked their car and joined me. There was no exchange of words, they stood silently beside me with the same action. After 5 minutes or so, they returned to their car soaking wet and drove off.
I always remember them on rainy days.
