I Have Dissociative Identity Disorder

In therapy I talked about cookies. I cannot sleep if cookies are in the room, because I don't like the smell of cookies. My therapist said that it must be connected to a childhood trauma. But I think, "well, maybe I just hate cookies!" Yes, to the point that they keep me up at night. Is there a name for fear of cookies? 馃槄

Cookies???

Did you have Father Christmas visit you as a child, Rose??? If so, what would you leave out for him??? That could explain your smell aversion...

Mine is coconut - the smell makes Me feel physically sick. I linked it to the smell of some coconut sun lotion that O/our mother used on U/us in O/our teenage years.

@HootyTheNightOwl I truly don't remember. Lol.

I don't know what those cookies plot to do while I am asleep, but I don't allow it. One night I kept waking up because I smelled Oreo cookies. I looked for them a couple times, but gave up. After several times I found the cookies and threw them out of my room to be dealt with later. 馃樇
