I Am a Senior In High School

Since second semester sophomore year to end of first semester junior year I was in an online program at school, I went to school but didn't go class to class and was instead in a room with other kids in the same program and worked online.

Then in January we moved and I switched to homeschooling online. July 1st we moved again(mom and stepdad divorce), to a bigger city, and now I've decided to go to public school again, all traditional classes, not online. This is a HUGE step for me. I've struggled with anxiety for a long time, and was diagnosed with PTSD towards the end of my sophomore year. I completely isolated and shut down last November when my bestfriend was murdered.

There are a couple reasons I've chose to do this. It's my last year of high school, and I'm ahead in my credits so it will be an easier year academically. I think it would be good for my mental health overall to have more structure in my days, and also to be more social. I also want to experience. Losing my bestfriend has really opened my eyes to how important it is to live while we can, I want good memories and to live. Not to stay stuck in my house alone constantly.

Thank you for reading if you actually read this all 😂
