Does anyone ever feel so detached from the world? Like they don't want to belong in it

Because I do 馃拋馃徑

It is highly likely that other people do not have any internal experience and are more likely just appearances in a simulation. This is why you may feel detached, because people including myself have no internal experience and thus you sense nothing from most people. In order for someone to have an internal experience you have to project your mind into their body.

This is why you may only feel anything from people who are close to you. The fact of the matter is that you are the only one who feels anything and when other people have an internal experience it is actually you projecting your soul into their perceived perspective. Since the majority of people have no inner experience (instead they can only say and show they do by appearances by which you only feel something if you participate) they are essentially soulless automatons, and since you probably don't share a social bond with every stranger you run into you never project an inner experience into the other person.

Thus you feel nothing from the majority of people, which causes a dissonance because you see them and judge by their appearances that they are conscious when really you can feel they are not. This is why one may feel detached, because, even though you were programmed not to sense it, the world we consider natural is actually an artificial creation which is in disagreement with a more fundamental nature preexisting this one. You feel detached because this world, essentially, is not real in tone. Just as you may feel detached during participation in a play, where you merely act a part which is not wholly reflective of your true nature, there is a tone of unrealness fundamental to this reality. It's just that in this case you are acting a part without realizing that you are just acting.

It's impossible to have no internal experience, internal experience comes from your own inner voice, possibly even part of the conscious; it's how you communicate with yourself and helps you communicate with the outer world

I don't know... I really just know so little... And I know my beliefs are considered fringe, if dubious... I just have this hunch that things are more complicated, if not just different than how they appear. It takes a leap to arrive to this conclusion, but it seems like a possibility to me that the source of consciousness is always the individual and that their consciousness can kinda "float" "out there" and that when you see people they are not actually conscious but acting out of habit automatically, and then once you deem that they are real that sort of consciousness which is "out there" assumes the identity of the person and conveys the feeling that they have an internal experience. And then when that person is no longer present, that consciousness is no longer in them, but the experience is stored in memory so there is continuity when you run into them next. Stored as your memory, not anyone else's.

I don't really care if people are conscious or not, it doesn't really affect how I would interact with them. As a rule of thumb though, I consider this just an alternate perspective which may have merits of truth. However the truth of it depends on whether the soul is immortal. So I can't really depend on its accuracy until I die in this life, or just... keep going...

There are many implications to the fundamental nature of this reality if one continues to exist after death. I consider the immortality of the soul as a potential factor which deserves due diligence in it's concomitant occurrence with the perception of reality.

For the sake of this perspective, you could consider more that any internal experience I have is a projection of your consciousness in the environment, rather than myself having an actual internal existence. In a sense, this would mean that you are only ever interacting with yourself at all times. In this way you could also create other intelligences with internal experiences that you interact with, but only so long as they are connected to you.

Same here, but it also opens your eyes. It's true what they say, ignorance is bliss
Under126-30, F
@offingg: I don't agree ignorance is bliss, although there is a downside to knowing too much sometimes, it's about perspective and how you choose to look at things, I have a very introverted and pessimistic frame of mind, I'm very sensitive too so I always feel out of place amongst people,

The world isn't an "idea", it's reality and it surrounds me, and I observe it so how would I have the wrong idea anyway?
