If everything in culture is made up anyway, should we care if we lose it?

So is language and governments and lines in the dirt we call countries why should we care about anything?

Of course, we should care if it is something that benefits people. But since culture is made up by people, one shouldn't accept a part of culture blindly, and not do anything to change it because it has always been like this.
