@NorthernRoses: I know, he's been round dogs for years and he hasn't learned anything 🙄. They totally do try to be alpha. If you have a dog in your house and you treat it equal to you, you're gonna have a problem. Dogs need to know you are the alpha and not them. If they know you are weak, they won't do anything you say and if it's a breed that needs to know it's place and you don't give it to them, that shit is fucking dangerous. Walk in a house with dogs and you will know who the pack leader is and it shouldn't be the dog, it should be everyone else who lives in that house. You clearly don't know anything about dogs in the wild.

@lucetta12: They do not try to be alpha. There is no such thing as an Alpha dog. Please talk to some dog behaviorists or trainers to get accurate information, because your knowledge of this is heavily outdated. Better yet; google it. Takes less effort.

Furthermore, I have grown up with four huskies. I own a medium-content Wolfdog. I have taken multiple courses and talked to various educated dog behaviorists to be able to handle said Wolfdog correctly. I don't have to scare her or shock her into behaving.

Please spend some time to do some actual research on dog behavior, because your knowledge of dog training and behavior is either lacking or outdated.
