Do chickens care when people take their eggs?

Probably, if they're fertalized. There was a goose couple that lived in the pond where I'm at. One year someone took their eggs away cause they didn't want the geese to have babies (not sure why). The next year the goose couple went way into the woods to lay their eggs and nobody noticed until the babies were hatched. The geese learned to hide their eggs.
