That company is marketing them for regional teams....I think the tailgate or football parties or whatever.

Now that you mention it, it does seem a bit less inane for a football party

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP: I don't know why a regular old Crock Pot wouldn't work for that but you know people who are sports fans, they like to buy team merchandise.

It has the Crocl Pot logo so it should be a good cooker. I love the crock pot.

That looks awesome ! Have you used it for any meals yet ?
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 46-50, M
Not yet. I'm hoping it'll perform better than the Habs pens that I bought for 5$ a pop.
It comes w/a recipe book, but my experience w/recipes included w/kitchen appliances is that the manufacturer washes their hands of them. I'll probably need to look on-line for solid dishes to make w/it.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP: I've used them a lot, especially when I had to work late. The sports angle makes a lot of sense for people who have tailgate or watch parties. I saw one for the 49ers that I might get my brother.

Well, it's brought my brother-in-law and me together in ways that would not have been possible before, so I say go for it :)
