i never got anonymous ones but where i live the paper has volunteers that will buy us gifts, i got a really nice one and sometimes i wonder if i know the person by what they said on the card except i'll never find out and i wish i knew cause they sound familiar

That is a lovely gesture in real life and if someone do it and you post about that experience (like you just did) on here it would be very interesting to read about . Thank you. I was just rolling my eyes a little about the many questions on SW relating to who gave them an anonymous gift. At first i thought it was cool but now it gets a little old.

I understand. But i think we can all see in the gift shop what funny gifts are available and it is a personal thing between you and the giver or receiver.
