Up is down, down is up. I get called a sheep for not mindlessly agreeing with "experts". Doesn't matter how often the"experts" are wrong.
@Rolexeo hate is love, war is peace; all double think from "1984" George Orwell.
I read that quite a while ago and NEVER, ever thought we would become anything like it; but sadly, GO was a prophet to this present age. He wrote that "story" in his garage on an old "portable typewriter" (long before word processors, PCs or tablets). I think with the Tech as it is; both Alexa, Google and the Internet they are probably really close to actually reading our minds.

@MsAlaineEYes Alexa spies on you. If you ask if it works for the FBI it shuts off. There's vids of it on Youtube. There's a law that says it's not allowed to lie or something.

Is 1984 worth the read if you get the general idea of it already?

@Rolexeo I can prove Alexa spies on us. I will be talking on the phone to a friend about buying something, and that same day I will begin to see it advertised on my feed.
@Rolexeo Yes, watching the movie also...even if you get the gist of it, you can still read between the lines and see too many similarities. The book, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is another...it deals with what we are seeing as "cancel culture". Movie also.
@4meAndyou It's bad enough that we have smart phones that never shut off and they can be detected even then. The TV in Fahrenheit 451 reminds me of our smart tvs and alexa. So if you are interested in the fiction/prophet authors and what they thought about today; read both of these...short reads. You can probably find online.

@MsAlaineEYes I have probably read, (almost), every sci fi book written by Ray Bradbury. I am a huge fan of sci fi, and fantasy and I've been reading for a long time.
@4meAndyou truth is stranger than (science) fiction...👍🎯😳
