What's the dumbest thing you've seen lately? I've seen an Egyptian saying Africans are ugly but Egypt is in Africa🤦‍♀️

Egypt still dumps it's trash in the Nile river. Entire dumpsters of it, even dead mules. They dont finish construction of homes or buildings there because you dont pay as much tax's if it's under construction. So people never finish. At night the walls around the city and the Nile are literally crawling with rats. All of the road ways are littered with cigarette butts and everywhere literally smells of piss.
I'd rather live just about anywhere but Egypt.

Egyptians don’t consider themselves African. They make a big distinction between Arab North Africa and black sub sahara Africa.

Recently a customer bought a porcelain teapot which was in a box, my colleague(for some reason) decided to overturn the box to bag it, teapot slid out and smashed all over the counter.

I learned two things
1) my colleague is dumb
2) that teapot was cheap as fuck

People have different ways of talking or communicating. Like Americans refer to the states as America.

I saw a man sitting in his truck because it was cold. He had jammed something into the handle of the pump and once his tank was full gallons and gallons were spewing onto the concrete.
I was afraid and wanted to hightail it out but my hubby noticed that it was diesel and was less dangerous so he ran up stopped it and knocked on the guys door to alert him.

In casual conversation people only refer to black Sub-Saharan people as Africans.
I've seen this so many times from all groups.
Normally when referring to Egyptians they will specify North Africans.
In my opinion most Egyptians feel more affinity to the Middle East than to the rest of sub-Saharan African
