Why is this flu so weird?!

This first half hour or so after waking up I’ll feel fine. Then a slight cough lets me know it’s still there. Then the eyes start to water, and the sinuses start to fill, the head starts to ache...all the symptoms come back. It’s like the flu knocks off for a good nights sleep also and then has a cup of coffee before stating it’s day inside me 🤒😷🤧😡
