Americans, how are you coping with the state of things?

Political affiliation aside. I voted democrat but my entire family is made up of staunch republicans. My opinions are strong but I love people very much who have their own opposing strong opinions. It is what it is. Seems like everyone has some sort of front of anger fear whatever and from any side it’s understandable. I’m asking on an individual human level. The virus the election the possibility of further lockdowns the lack of close human interaction and inability to plan mixed with holidays coming up.. the everything. Honestly, are you okay?

no i’m really not. i’m physically sick even though the election is looking good in my favor. also i don’t even wanna go out bc i’m scared of opposing party members coming into our city bc they’re mad majority of us voted blue.

I’m very much caught up in living my own life to care about anything that’s happening. I’m still living it the way I was when everything was “normal”. I don’t watch TV or google any news to be bothered.
Im not American but I feel stressed with whats goungvon around me both personally and in the main streem of things lickdowns, covid, not seeing people much brexit
I find it insane how crazy people get over different opinions than theur own. It's like mad cow disease going around.

This is a sweet post I just wanna say 💟🌎🕊

That's what happens when you take politics too seriously and you people get all wrapped up in the cult of personality.

I don't make the rules. I just do what I can and work with what I have.
How does it feel to be contrary to your family?

Yeah, I’ll deal

I voted for Trump, but if Biden becomes our president, I'll support him and let him do his job.

Unlike the people that went into a crazy frenzy when Trump won.

For me it's mostly just the internet that's making me angry. It's not so bad IRL. My hope is that things will resolve themselves soon so we can get some peace from this election finally.
